WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Born for This is now something of
a Lenten tradition for those involved in
the ministry of cjm music. Each year the
team journey deeper into this moving portrayal
of Christ's Passion and are somehow able
to deliver even more powerful performances
than the year before.
Apart from that, groups across the UK and
beyond have got their hands on Born for
this and made it their own.

Forthcoming performances
of Born for This
Below are some of the wonderful comments
we've received from participants and audiences
alike over the years...

Amazing, brilliant, tear-jerking, very
moving, spine-tingling - some of the very
positive comments received from family &
friends after the recent performances of
BFT in Leeds & Birmingham.
Performing in Leeds was extra-special
for me for 2 reasons: being a Leeds girl
through & through and having my Mum in the
audience to witness the acting, hear the
beautiful music and the singing from the
chorus, yourselves along with all those
Yorkshire children's voices. A wonderful
experience to share.

Just back from the Brentwood performance
of Born for This and, once again, felt so
privileged to be a part of it. We really
all enjoyed taking part and hope that you
also felt it was a success!
Many thanks to everyone for all your
help and support in all the prep leading
up to the events and for making our girls
feel welcomed and involved. They really
got a lot out of it. May there be many more
blessings for you in the future in all you
do.

Just a massive thank you for the whole
experience that was the 'Born for This'
cathedral tour 2007. I'm so glad I took
part, I was made to feel so welcome by everybody
and I now feel like part of the team.
At my own church when running through
the passion story the BFT narrations and
songs run through my head helping the meaning
and message stand out and become a lot more
powerful. Thank you! God Bless!

"Born for This" brought Mary to me this
Lent. I had already heard her whisper in
her letter to Elizabeth, "And Joe, well
you know..."
Mary, the Mother of God, sings the beautiful
Born for This. But Mary the mother
sings the Last Lullaby. I can't listen without
crying - for every mother who lost her child,
for the women in Ethiopia, the Tsunami women,
whose babies were ripped from their arms,
for my Grandmother, who kept the baby shoe
all her life.. Suddenly it all made sense.
I understood.
...
When I finally got home, my husband
was waiting for me in the hall. He hugged
me and said, "Now I get it."..... (For the
last 20 years he has experienced a wedding,
3 christenings, 3 First Communions, 2 Confirmations
(nearly), endless Children's Liturgies,
school Masses etc. etc. But finally, after
one evening in Plymouth cathedral with Mike,
Jo and their angels......) " The whole Catholic
thing - I get it."
Thank you.

Just a few lines to say a huge massive
'thank you' for letting me be part of 'Born
for This' during Holy Week. All I can say
is 'wow', what an experience.
Having seen performances in the past
- which was moving enough - being part of
it from a performer's view point was even
more emotional and moving.
I don't know how I stopped the tears from
rolling while I was reading...

I was privileged to see it at St Chad's
Catherdral on Good Friday. It was a truly

What can I say? It was brilliant and
thank you for a superb act of worship on
Sunday morning. It was very moving and we've
had many listeners ringing to to find out
more about the [Born for This] production
and cjm...
It was great wroking with such a professional
group of people. To be able to put together
quite a complext presentation and do it
live is a feat in itself, but the power
of the presenation was something else. One
listener who rang up said that she was stopped
in her tracks and reduced to tears. Please
convey our thanks to all involved - to the
splendid team of readers ad to your talented
soloists and choir.
